Matrix has developed a range of rapid pathogen tests that can be used to screen environmental samples e.g. air, soil, irrigation water.

The ability for the Pathatrix to handle large sample volumes enables it to cope with difficult matrices like soil which are hard to work with using conventional techniques.

In the case of air sampling, filters can be extracted in large volumes and directly applied to Pathatrix or indeed placed within the Pathatrix in their entirety.
